No. It's a maintenance and repair membership run directly by Ruddington Plumbing & Heating, not an insurance product. There's no insurer involved, no excess to pay and you deal with our local engineers rather than a national call centre.

Bronze at £12/month, Silver at £20/month and Gold at £30/month. You can also add a gas fire service (£5/month), unvented cylinder service (£6/month) or a Landlord Gas Safety Certificate/CP12 (£7/month) to any plan.

Bronze covers an annual boiler service and reminders only. Silver adds boiler breakdown attendance (up to twice a year), repair labour and priority booking. Gold adds replacement parts (up to £250 per repair), heating pipework, internal gas pipework and radiator valve repairs, with up to three breakdown attendances a year.

Only on Gold, and up to £250 (including VAT) per repair. If parts cost more, you pay the difference. Obsolete or unavailable parts are excluded on all plans.

Silver and Gold members get priority over non-members, but same-day attendance cannot be guaranteed. Response times depend on workload, weather and demand at the time.

Silver and Gold require the boiler to be under 16 years old, in safe working order and considered maintainable. Pre-existing faults are excluded from all plans, and any remedial work needed before membership starts will be quoted separately.

Boiler or system replacement, damage from sludge or scale, powerflushing, frozen condensate pipes, underfloor heating, smart thermostats, water softeners, Saniflos, showers, drainage, accidental damage and any third-party workmanship.

Yes. Silver covers up to two breakdown attendances per year and Gold up to three. A Fair Use Policy also applies to ensure the service remains fair for all members.

There is a minimum 12-month term. You can cancel within 14 days of joining provided no work has been carried out. After the first year it rolls monthly and can be cancelled by either party.
